Good people are so busy doing and being “them” that they sometimes miss when others are conspiring about. They’re doing everything by the book: rule following, showing up, thinking smart, and working hard. Their tribe is counting on them and they are with it! They don’t take too much time to wonder—or care—who is crafty and who is the real deal. They assume the best.
Good people are also surprised or taken off guard when misdoings occur. Learning the lessons of life firsthand. It’s a process from a young age onward—while staying grounded and not jaded—but sure as heck learning how to stay high-spirited while sticking-up for themselves. Never by returning the favor… just letting Karma do the trick. What goes around comes around. No need to get involved with that. Really… it’s truth! Not thinking about it again, learning, and marching forward. Putting the dust others tried to kick up behind them, but it’s actually the dust from smoothly rolling forward. Like water off a duck’s back.
Usually what these genuine, soulful folks are paying attention to is how the Universe is conspiring to HELP them. They’re too busy being focused and grateful. LOVE this! It’s their own personal pattern. They’re weaving the fabric of their life.
Yes, it’s a real thing. And your goal is to have it hold zero weight. Just be you. Strive to the highest standard you know, and your life will be oh-so-sweet! If you keep focused and stay uber-positive every dang delicious day, your life will be yours! Spread love, sunshine, and grace—with ease—everywhere you go. The fluidity of the beauties who live this way are charming and magnetic.
I recently finished reading Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist, and it spoke to me on EVERY level. One particular quote from the book that left an impression in my soul is:
“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
If you want something badly enough and it comes from a place of happiness—meaning you find joy working on that dream—then you’ve nourished what Coelho calls the Soul of the World.
“It is we who nourish the Soul of the World, and the world we live in will be either better or worse, depending on whether we become better or worse. And that’s where the power of love comes in. Because when we love, we always strive to become better than we are.”
So when you nourish the Soul of the World for your dream or desire—from a place of love and happiness—the universe is conspiring to help you to achieve it. Co-creation at its best! 💚💚
I truly believe the universe is at my side EVERYDAY lending her hand and helping me in BIG loving spoonfuls, especially when my Sage Page, glutenfreesage, was just a twinkle in my eye. The compass in my heart guided me, and so I followed. I knew I wanted a website as a benevolent channel through which to educate people about the gluten-free diet, to inspire, and to navigate this new life. And things fell into place from there. I received guidance and HELP. My angels flew in from the north and the west and landed softly on my shoulder.
I’ve learned that being strong, healthy and happy will open your world to your athletic side, the activist in you, or even your inner artist. I believe we’re better people when we feel well and are at peace, and Gluten Free Sage came from this place of serenity.
When I met Kristen in my search for a graphic and web designer for Sage, I remember thinking—smart and calm—just what the Universe ordered. Even though she is a busy mom, she instantly got how I wanted to design the site and knew what I wanted to say.
We learned that we both love Lisa Congdon and read her book Fortune Favors The Brave. Kristen understood my theme, color scheme, style and love of typography, and instantly hopped on the Sage Train. We both have very high standards and strive for excellence on the daily. That’s when Kristen introduced me to hand lettering artist, Kimberly Taylor-Pestell of Lacelit, as Kimberly was the one who introduced Lisa’s work to Kristen and also shares the same work ethic and standards of excellence as we do.
Poems have always been constantly swirling around in my mind, especially with rhythm or cadence, and so I began writing poetry on my journey to health and healing. I’m also collaborating with Kristen and Kimberly to bring these poems to life in my book, Sage Words.
It’s been a work in progress since November, and we’re in the final stages of the book now. I kept her positive with hits of Florida sunshine that she needed throughout the winter (she lives in the mostly frozen tundra of the Upper Peninsula) and she taught me tech-savvy and got us on this awesome schedule that’s really the key to our success. We also both deeply care about the Why behind what we’re doing and, geeez, talk about heart and soul on our weekly calls. Woop woop! Yes… BONUS. We have that, too!
My life is now full of positive energy, creativity, synchronicity, and peace, largely in part to inspiring people conspiring to HELP. Sage Page we are sic for you! Following our dreams with hearts on our sleeves! 💕
