We had a Grateful Dinner this weekend for our friends Bill and Spencer. We had no way to express our gratitude for all the things we wanted to thank Bill for—and we certainly couldn’t find enough words—so we expressed our appreciation with dinner! Boy, was this a long time coming. It was a special night.

We served shrimp, steaks and salad, and drank the most wonderful wine that they brought to our home. The best part of the dinner was the grilled asparagus with cherry tomatoes and a sprinkle of Parmesan. If I knew how much Bill loved Italian food, I would’ve done that! But I’ll save it for next time… 🙂
Both Bill and my husband Mark work behind the scenes in their professions “constructing” with intelligence, patience, and passion, and positively influencing the lives of others. We shared stories of health and life, and as it turns out, Spencer has celiac too, so we had a lot in common to talk about.
